Here's an economy priced laser that never needs adjustment. You simply set down on the stage floor. It's self-leveling and accurate to 1/8" at 100 feet.It will transfer a mark on the stage floor to the grid instantly and accurately.  Rugged, waterproof, and a cinch to operate.  You can even carry it to the grid to lay out lines because it has an up/down laser too.

If you can't wait until the 5-way laser plumb bob/level/square is available, the Tri-Lite (pictured center) can do the job. Looks like a slightly oversized tape measure that you simply set down on the stage floor. It's self-leveling and accurate to 1/8" at 100 feet.It will transfer a mark on the stage floor to the grid instantly and accurately.  Rugged, waterproof, and a cinch to operate.  Carry it with you in its included belt pouch.  You can even carry it to the grid to lay out lines.

The Laser Plumb Bob and level also comes in a 2-way variation.  The SLX-2 (pictured far right) projects a beam upward AND forward parallel to the floor at the same time.  Same accuracy as the Tri-Lite.
