Maybe you've seen the "Gator Grip" on TV and you wondered if it really works. I can tell you it does! This one socket fits all nuts and bolts from 1/4" to 3/4" and all metric sizes from 9mm to 17mm. And it fits odd shapes like wing nuts and eye bolts too.

The trick of the Gator Grip is that the socket is made up of 52 spring loaded steel roller pins that automatically conform to the shape of the nut, bolt or whatever else you want to tighten.

And here's the best part: I've combined it with a flexible stubby ratchet and a pouch so that you have an entire lightweight socket set that fits in the palm of your hand and you can carry it on your belt! When I first saw these built into the ends of extention cords I thought they were the best idea I'd seen in years. Another one of those "I wish I'd thought of that!" situations.

The only problem was that you had to buy all brand new extention cords in order to get the advantages of the built in pilot light. Not anymore! Cuts electrical cable up to 4/0 in size with one hand.

Cutting 4/0 electrical cable cleanly is no easy job. Unless of course you're using the Klein Ratcheting Cable Cutter!

When placing screws, I always use my finder/driver. It can be used on any drill/screwgun.

It magnetically holds in place any bit you choose and it has a sleeve which slides over the screw. This is great for placing screws in hard to reach places.

I've found another good use for the finder/driver. Use it when hanging wall sconces. It happens so often, you can't get your screwgun in between the prongs of a sconce so you can't screw the mounting plate to the wall.
